This Privacy Policy explains how The Wilbers Law Firm LLC ("the firm," "we," "us," or "our") handles information collected through thewilberslawfirm.com, its website forms, and website chat. It also explains your choices and how to contact us about privacy.

For information about an existing attorney-client relationship or case file, please contact your attorney. This website policy does not replace an engagement agreement or the firm's professional duties.

1. Information collected

Information you provide. When you submit a form, use chat, or contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, ZIP code, the contents of your message, and related correspondence. Messages may contain information about an accident, injury, or potential legal matter.

Website activity. Our website and its service providers may receive your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referring website, pages visited, timestamps, cookie or similar identifiers, and interactions such as clicking a telephone link or submitting a form. A telephone-link click does not tell us whether a call was completed.

Chat and embedded content. Our Tidio chat service processes information entered in chat and related technical information. Embedded maps, media, and links to external services may also involve collection by their providers.

2. How information is used

  • Receive, evaluate, and respond to inquiries and communicate about requested services.
  • Route inquiries to the firm, maintain contact records, and manage follow-up.
  • Operate and troubleshoot the website, prevent spam and misuse, and protect its security.
  • Understand website traffic and measure website and marketing performance.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations and address legal claims or requests.

Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in a marketing text-message program or establish an attorney-client relationship. Please see our Disclaimer.

3. When information is disclosed

Website inquiries are processed using hosting, form, email, contact-management, and automation services and by personnel or service providers who help the firm operate its website and intake process. These include Webflow, Inflowave, and the firm's website and intake support provider, Noira. Information submitted in a form may be stored in contact-management systems and included in internal intake notifications.

Analytics and advertising providers receive website activity as described below. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or legal process, to protect rights or safety, or as you direct or authorize. We may share inquiry and contact information with other attorneys or law firms to evaluate or arrange a potential referral. We do not always obtain permission before making these referral disclosures. These arrangements are attorney referrals, not arrangements to provide inquiries to marketers or lead buyers. If you have questions about a referral or how your inquiry has been shared, contact us at the address below.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising tools

Cookies and similar technologies can store identifiers or preferences and help providers recognize a browser. The website uses the following tools:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics helps measure visits and actions, including successful form submissions and telephone-link clicks. Tag Manager manages website tags. Google may receive technical information and online identifiers. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Meta Pixel. The Meta Pixel sends website activity, such as page visits, and associated technical information or identifiers to Meta. This can support advertising measurement and advertising personalization. Meta may associate this information with an account or other information it holds. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics. Ahrefs helps us understand website traffic and referring sources. Ahrefs describes this analytics product as cookie-free. See Ahrefs' Privacy Policy.
  • Tidio and embedded services. Chat and embedded maps or media may use cookies or similar technologies to provide their features. See Tidio's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

The website's custom inquiry events report that an action occurred; they are configured not to include your form message, name, email address, or telephone number as analytics event parameters. Do not put confidential information in a website URL or search field.

Disclosures of browsing information to advertising providers may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some privacy laws, even without a payment for that information. This policy does not describe those disclosures as anonymous.

5. Your choices and requests

  • Browser controls. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect chat, maps, or other features. Deleting cookies does not remove information already received by a provider.
  • Google Analytics. Google offers a browser opt-out add-on. Its coverage depends on the supported browser and implementation.
  • Advertising preferences. Review Google My Ad Center and Meta advertising preferences. Provider preferences do not necessarily stop all information collection.
  • Contact and privacy requests. Contact us below to ask about information you submitted, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern about tracking or marketing communications.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. We will evaluate requests under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity or authority, and legal or professional obligations may limit what can be deleted or disclosed. Please do not send identity documents or detailed case information with an initial privacy request.

This page does not itself change your browser's tracking settings. A browser privacy signal should not be assumed to disable all website tools.

6. Retention and security

How long information is retained depends on its purpose, whether an inquiry becomes a client matter, and applicable legal, professional, security, and recordkeeping requirements. Contact the firm for information about a particular record or a deletion request. No website, email system, or method of storage can guarantee absolute security.

7. Sensitive information and children

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account details, medical records, or other confidential documents through general website forms or chat. Use a method arranged with the firm for sensitive materials. Contacting the firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.

This website is intended for people seeking information about legal services, not for children under 13 to submit information independently. A parent or guardian may contact the firm about a child's matter. If you believe a child has submitted personal information inappropriately, contact us.

8. Other websites and processing locations

External websites, social networks, client portals, and third-party services have their own privacy practices. Follow their privacy notices when using those services. Our firm operates in the United States; service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as website tools or practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
